Extracting perfume from roses
If you have an ancient rose plant with very fragrant petals, you can extract their scent in the following way:
collect the petals early in the morning, put them in a gauze, closing the gauze with a thread. In a glass jar put a finger of alcohol at 95 degrees, put in the jar the petals that you have enclosed in the gauze keeping them in suspension with the thread without touching the alcohol, close with the lid. Replace the petals twice a week for a month, then dilute the alcohol with spring water, and you will have thus obtained your rose perfume.
