Jam of myrtle
n Sardinia, myrtle berries are not only used to make liqueur, but also to make a very good, very aromatic jam. Myrtle berries contain anti oxidants and vitamin C.
To make 1 kg of jam : 4 kg of myrtle berries, 1 apple, 350 g of sugar.
Myrtle jam is excellent to accompany pecorino cheese.
